Antique Shaving Mirror Stand with Drawer

This shaving mirror has beautiful dovetail joinery and a colonial look. It appears to be maple wood. There are light use marks on the top of the drawer surface, but I do not see any cracks in the wood or mirror. It is in very good condition.

This wood accessory piece measures 19 1/2" wide at the bottom by 9" deep by 26" high. The mirror is a tilt type and adjustable with brass keys on each side of the mirror. The drawer knobs are a matching wood.

It is marked on the lower back P JOHN FURNITURE CORP. 26-MM-1335. This is the mark of BP John Furniture of Portland, Oregon. The business was started in 1891 and there is some debate as to when they went out of business but it was probably around the time of the Great Depression.
