Old Crock Beater Jar with Advertising – Stoneware Crock

This great old beater jar is an excellent example of early advertising. There are two brown stripes that go around the jar. The base is a light cream color. The glaze is shiny and the advertising is clear.

The beater jar advertising reads: Compliments of Village View Dairy in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Herb Owens, Prop.

It measures 5” high by 4 3/4" across at the top. It is in excellent condition with a bright finish and clear lettering. The inside of the crock has a manufacturing flaw in the base edge but it is not a crack. No chips anywhere.
