Phenomenal Limoges Charger 11 1/2 '' / Cabinet Plate ~ Hand Painted with Yellow, Pink and Red Roses ~ Artist Signed ~ Tressemann & Vogt 1892-1907

This plate is definitely a WOW and truly a piece of art. The artistry shows the pride that this artist felt when creating this piece. He has painted what I would consider, a blooming peace rose and an emerging bud, combining the yellow and pinks so wonderfully. He adds two white roses with pink accents on the petals. To really make this plate pop he painted two deep red rose buds. Around the roses he has painted various colors of green leaves, with some giving a shadowy effect and placed them on brown and green horned stems. He has even given the leaves a realistic edge which he has painted a deep red brown. Within the roses and leaves he has painted little white flowers on green vines that tend to give the painting a softening effect. He has placed his design on an ornate scalloped, raised relief, gold trimmed blank. He has use soft muted colors for the background to enhance the beauty. Artist ‘A. Zimmermann has signed the front of this piece. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. You can’t let this one slip by, it is AWESOME!!!
