The first plate display fruit full vines of succulent hand painted wild strawberries and white floral blossoms with yellow centers. The background is painted in hues of pink, cream and browns. On the second plate the artist has painted a wonderful motif of ripe and unripe gooseberries in a wonderful ripe red and green color. They are accented with the green stems and leaves on a background of muted colors around the design that blends out to a creamy center. The third plate is hand painted with dark purple blackberries, white blossoms, trailing vines, and green foliage on a background of browns, pink and ivory. Artist signed the front of all three plates. Plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The fruit on these plates look so real you want to reach down and pluck one off.
