Gorgeous Limoges Porcelain Mug / Tankard ~ Hand Painted with Orange Poppy Flowers ~ Tressemann & Vogt ( T&V ) 1892-1907

Bright and vibrant, this lovely mug tantalizes the senses with bright orange poppies. The artist did a wonderful rendition of fully bloomed orange poppies. He painted light green centers accented with black making them look so life like. Accenting the orange flowers he has added a few light green leaves, stems and buds. One side of the cup has several flowers and the other has a lone flower decorating this piece. The inside of the mug is a brilliant white color balancing out the orange design. Even if you aren’t an orange lover you will definitely have to admire this fine piece of workmanship. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. A POPPY LOVERS DREAM COME TRUE!!!!
