This is just a stunning piece of fine porcelain. I tried to capture the beauty of these birds with photos, but I don't believe I did them any justice. The bowl is in wonderful condition, free of cracks, chips, stains, scratches, etc. This is a bowl that must have been kept in a cabinet, as the gold gilding is 100%, the hand painting is just out of this world! I'm certain this bowl to be made by Schumann, as it has the Schumann crown. The bowl measures 9" wide and is 2 1/4" deep. The number on the back is 65 or 63 in gold.
