This is a beautiful French early 19thc Oil on canvas, a rare pattern, featuring a fortune teller, concentrate, playing cards on right hand, his pretty customer laying along, under hypnosis..... We love this rare representation, apparently unsigned, painting of which is first quality. Lying lady looks like Ingres and Delacroix models.... Dimensions: 29ins x 23-1/4ins. Condition is not perfect! carefully inspected: original canvas, original varnish, no re-paint, but there are crackles on place on varnish, 2 little holes, and two other have been masked; please see on our detailed pictures
