Vintage Thompson's Advertising Malt Canister

This is an old aluminum malt canister advertising Thompson's brand malted milk. These were commonly found on the back bar of old soda fountains and held the powdered malt for making malts as opposed to shakes. They were provided by different companies to advertise their product and keep their company name in view. It is made of polished aluminum and Thompson's Double Malted - Malted Milk is slightly recessed and painted with the original red enamel paint. The logo is on one side only.

It measures about 8 5/8" tall with the lid on and 6" in diameter at the base. It is in very good original condition with minimal wear. There is some light scratching and no noticeable dents. The worst "scuff" mark I have tried to show in the close-up photo.
