An original oil painting on canvas by American artist Ralph Davison Miller (1858 - 1945). It is entitled "English Scene" written in pencil on the back. His works exhibited in Kanst Gallery, Steckel Gallery and Blanchard Gallery in Louisiana from 1909 to 1927 in addition to several others, and he is listed in many art reference books. Many of his works were painted in the late 1890's through approximately 1919. Miller traveled from Kansas and spent time in Arizona new Mexico Colorado and Northern California before he settled in Southern California. He is known for landscapes, still life and marine paintings. The dimensions of this including the frame are 20" by 23". Signed "Ralph Davison Miller".
