Estate Liquidators: Major Reductions on all COLLECTIBLES & ART / Pay Pal CC Cards and Phone Orders: 520-825-4005
There is a series of State I and State II etchings done in the mid 1850's of several of Millet's works and some were hand colored. From what I was told by a gallery representative there were no hand colored ones created of J.F. Millet's Les Glaneuses during that period. Therefore, this one is not from that much sought after series today going at auction for $7,000 and upwards; however, one can still enjoy the artistry of this ORIGINAL since once it was hand pulled and only a few were pulled from each plate, they became a second original that was hand colored by an artist of that time. Circa: Probably early 1920's.
Measurement: Framed: 17" x20" - Unframed: 11" x 14"
Item ID: JSME-122
