Elegant & rare, this beautiful Ormolu Gilded Bronze French Rococo candelabra centerpiece stands twenty inches tall and is seventeen inches wide. It has four scrolled branch candle arms, with one center candle holder and rests on a sturdy weighted base supported by four ornate feet. Five foliated collars catch wax drippings.

What a striking appearance this wonderful piece will make gracing a dining room table. Acquired at an auction, this piece was sold as a "turn of the century" ca 1900 antique.

In good condition for its age, although it has had some work done on the underside in the form of a large soldered area that I expect was done to add weight to the base. You may find a few very tiny scratches, normal for a piece of its age. This in no way affects the beauty of the piece and it displays extremely well. You may want to tighten the arms a little, and some cleaning may be necessary.
