Early Black German all china ‘Bathing Doll’ known as ‘Badekinder’ and dubbed “Frozen Charlotte / Frozen Charlie” by collectors. Black china bathing dolls are significantly harder to find than the white ones, as they were made in significantly fewer numbers.

One piece glazed porcelain doll, in a small 4” tall size, has curly molded hair and very well defined features.

Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is one tiny spot of white on the back left shoulder as can be seen in the photos. All other spots showing in the photos are reflections from the glaze and our lighting.
