JUDY CHICAGO (1939-) American contemporary feminist art pencil signed inscribed numbered print

This is a color offset print, measuring 28" by 21 3/8" and thin modern frame, inscribed at lower left in pencil by the artist ("For Katrina with appreciation"), numbered 145/250, and signed at lower right "Judy Chicago 1996". At lower right in small print is "Judy Chicago 1974 Periwinkle Products Beverly Hills, California". I think that the artist actually created the image in 1974 but decided in 1996 to make it into a limited edition print. The artist is well known of course as a major figure in the feminist art movement. The text of the print deals with her feelings as a woman, and the images she creates are interpreted as female genitalia. Condition: I think the bottom third has been exposed to moisture at some time in the past. It is somewhat compromised, including ripples, but staining is not obvious. Ask for more details.
