Titled "Essays".Beautiful gold tooling both sides,gilt page edges on three sides and brown and rust leather spines with gold tooling as well. Illustrations in the front of each.The volumes are biographical,critical and historical essays of the Tatler,Spectator and Guardian. Printed dates ranging from 1809,1810 and 1814 by J. Seeley,Buckingham,For W. Suttaby,Stationers Court,London.Excellent condition with minute wear to spine edge on some. Measure 6.25H X 4L X 1.25D. A handsome set.
