French late 19th century fabric and beaded box offers a hand colored engraving on the top surrounded by deep green ribbon trim and protected with a form of plexiglas. The lid lip edge is covered in antique gold trim. Sides are antique cream fabric with tiny gold bead work in a lattice design. A few of the beads are missing as seen but does not detract as there are so many in the design. Bottom is fabric with four brass feet. Interior with padded lid is fabric lined. In remarkably good condition,the right side slightly indented from use. Wonderful storage for mementos,note cards,sewing supplies,jewelry or the like with old world charm. Measures 8L X 7D X 2.25H.
