Silver plate tray, large rectangular, double handled, elevated on four fancy cast feet. Marked on the bottom, tray was made by the Hartford Sterling Co., of Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1900. Marked Silver on Copper. Tray is 18" by 13 1/2", 22 1/2" from handle to handle. Fancy and intricate Art Nouveau engraved design and monogrammed with the initial H. Edge has rope turned pattern and the corners each have heavy cast scrolling and plume design. The silver plate is in excellent condition, no copper or brass showing through the silver. Strong Hallmark on the under side, see photo. Some minor wear spot, silver finish is bright and shiny and engraving is crisp. One very very small ding that had to be mentioned for accuracy.
