When I first saw this set of silver I thought that perhaps the goblet sat within the pedestal, but it doesn't - it sits on top! So what I have, thought I'm not sure, is a Sabbath set of silver. Both pieces are hallmarked STERLING SILVER and both bear Israel manufacturer's marks.

The wine goblet (Kiddush goblet?) stands 4-11/16" high and has a width at the top of 2-1/2". The inside is lightly gilded and along the outside are Jewish/Hebrew writings as well as quite a bit of filigree work. Weight of the piece is 83 grams and there are no dents or dings in the piece.

The pedestal stands on 3 feet and stands 1-1/2" high; inside width is 2-1/4" and outer rim width is 3-9/16"; weight of the platform is 46.8 grams. The outer rim again depicts Hebrew writings as well as a bit of scrollwork embellishment. Condition is very nice with again, no dents or dings.

That's it. Two wonderful pieces of silver that probably date to the 60s or 70s. Anyone want?
