Original 1937 Commemorative Plate Celebrating the Coronation of George VI

This is a lovely old piece of British history, whether you are an Anglophile, or just someone who loves things from a time gone by. The center of the plate has a lovely and colorful picture of George VI and Elizabeth, surrounded by the royal flags. There is a hand-painted lavender edge trim. There is some crazing to the clear glaze, some fading to the fine gold edge trim, and either a kiln pop or a small nick in the glaze on the front, lower left. It is about 10 inches across and, considering the age, is in Good Condition.
