This is a rare form highly carved American oak arm chair. It is 44 3/4" high with a very fancy shaped and carved seat approximately 17" in diameter. The arm shape conforms with the seat, and they are carved on top. The chair is supported on 4 finely fluted legs. The fancy open-carved and bent back is 27" high and 12 1/2" wide with very fine scroll and acanthus carving. A wonderful chair in great condition.
