Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Crescent Moon Brooch Sapphire & Clear Paste Rhinestones Marked

Crescent Moons were extremely popular during the later part of the 19th century, into the 1920’s. This Brooch is a slender, sterling silver crescent moon set with clear paste stones and a beautiful grouping of Sapphire Stones in the middle.

There are (21) shimmering stones in all, which are deep-set in sterling silver. The crescent moon measures 2 3/4” L x 1/8” W and tapers down to the ends. Dating to the early 1900’s and is in excellent condition.

Please note that the back of the brooch shows dark areas which are tarnish and can be polished off if desired.
