This Charming Late Victorian Brooch created by FN. Company who were Victorian Jewelry Manufacturers is brilliant with paste and black stones. This piece dates from approximately 1910 – 1915.

The Brooch measures 3 1/8” L x between 3/4” – 7/8” W.

There is a black grosgrain ribbon suspended from the top section of the brooch that measures 2” L x 1/2” W, from which a shield-shape motif encrusted with paste rhinestones is attached. A center strip of black glass - square stones runs down the center creating an Art Deco Design.

The top has an old style C-clasp that works perfectly. There is normal vintage wear with a small chip on the bottom black stone, which is not visible unless you look very closely. This Brooch would make a wonderful addition to any Antique Victorian Jewelry Collection.
