Florence Ceramics Rhett Figurine in White and Gold

Florence Ceramics, in Pasadena, California, operated from World War II to 1977, although production of it's figurine line ended in 1964 when new owners took over. This beautiful 9" semi-porcelain figurine is marked Rhett. He is quite the dapper gentleman in his white tailcoat, pants, tophat and vest. His hat, jacket, lapels, vest, ascot, shoes, and collar are detailed in gold. His pants have subtle lines that do not show up in the photos. He has rosy cheeks, pink lips, and brown eyes and mustache. The artist's initials are in gold on the underside - appear to be DB. Kovel's 2000 Price Guide lists his value at $325-$350. He is in excellent condition.
