This piece features a soft arrangement of hand-painted yellow dogwood flowers, surrounded by lush greenery, muted branches and pale gold leaves. Background colors include pale yellow, apricot and creme. The detailing is superb.

The shape is unique and is trimmed in a 1/4" band of gold, as is the wide 1" handle.

This early Noritake piece is 'happy!' It would be a delightful addition to any room in your home.

Backstamp: Hand Painted Nippon "M" (Morimura Bros.) in green c.1911-21.

Dimensions: 7"L x 5 3/4" W x 1 1/8" H

Condition: Very Good with minor gold loss on trim (one spot as well as light rubbing), handle, and along bottom edge. No chips, cracks, crazing.
