True Antique & Collectible Lover's Heaven where ALL Major Credit Cards are now accepted!
Measures 5 1/2 inches wide. It is unmarked as was most of their work. This extremely rare bowl is a combination of various vintage Venetian Murano techniques creating a stunning and highly sought after piece of art. In thick clear glass heavily cased with inclusions of colored glass powders in the shape of petals in shades of reds, greens, blues, and amber yellows with gold flecking or gold aventurine throughout it. This technique is rarer than better known "oriente" design, and is extremely sought after by collectors. This style is published in Marc Heiremans book on page 55 & 56.
Circa 1940’s-1950’s. This bowl measures 7.75 inches wide in diameter and sits about 3 inches tall. The glass is between 1 inch at the minimum and 2 inches thick in places.
The back/bottom of the bowl is just as unique as the bowl itself. There is a leaf pattern, of sorts that allows a sure grip when holding. This work of art does have the expected table wear to the base. There is a pin head sized flea bite to outer rim. This bowl is unmarked.
Simply Gorgeous.
